orn and raised in Vermont, gardening is in Mark’s blood. He brings with him artful skills and knowledge gained
from working on a four-season diversified farm throughout high school and college. Upon becoming a history teacher, Mark found rejuvenation in summer through creative gardening, which continued to blossom earning him a first place award in Historic Windsor Vermont’s 2007 Summer Garden contest.
When Mark’s not digging up dirt, he’s working towards a graduate degree in Community Education Leadership. Mark is actively engaged in community development initiatives throughout Boston and presently coordinates a program helping urban students prepare and plan for post-secondary employment and education.
